SAN FRANCISCO, CA – April 11, 2008 – The Internet Oldtimers, a members-only community consisting of long-time leading decision makers and influencers in the digital media and marketing industry, today announced that select members will open up and speak at the ad:tech San Francisco 2008 Conference, a leading industry interactive marketing event, Thursday, April 17, 3:30pm on “The Dynamics of Intent: Consumer Demand in the Digital Age.”

Content publishers and advertisers know they need to consider how consumer demand influences site content as well as the mix, approach and the plan of any media placements. However, it can often seem a mystery as to how exactly to define, monitor, and rate consumer intent; and then know how to factor that data into your strategies.

Join the moderator and speakers in this panel which include,

Industry pioneer David Smith, CEO of Mediasmith; Sean Cummings, Director of Marketing for Ask.com; Doron Wesly, Vice President, Strategic Services for Marketing Science; Peter Shankman, Crisis Management, Social Media, Stunt/Viral Marketing; and Skip Graham, Director of The Internet Oldtimers Foundation and Founder of Giant Head Interactive Branding and InterAdnet, an Interactive Direct Response Agency, in an engaging, interactive setting to discuss how consumer intent should influence the strategy execution, and optimization strategies of both content publishers and advertisers alike.

“The Internet Oldtimers Foundation decided to go ‘public’ on this panel with our ideas as the organization is working towards improving the industry standards through the education of marketing professionals on best practices and individual responsibility,” said Skip Graham, Executive Director of the Internet Oldtimers Foundation. “We also plan on having a mentor program where we pair young marketers with some of the industry’s most brilliant and seasoned minds in hopes of instilling in them a sense of personal responsibility for the marketing practices they choose to follow.”
